The best way to avoid health problems
Here’s how to avoid disease: ditch vegetable oils.
There are fats that heal, and fats that kill. Oils like canola, soybean, corn and other vegetable oils often have health claims on their labels, but these are pure marketing spin to try to sell their products. If a product has to promote itself on the label, it usually is anything but healthful. Vegetable oils cause or exacerbate nearly all chronic diseases by throwing off the necessary omega-3 fatty acids you need for health. These oils are highly inflammatory due to the high amounts of omega 6’s, not to mention the chemical extraction and heating processes that oxidize them, making them highly damaging to our health. What’s more, most vegetable oils come from genetically modified corn and soy, and contain high amounts of glyphosate, a chemical pesticide that wreaks havoc on our gut and general health. For cooking, use unrefined, organic, virgin coconut oil or organic ghee (grass-fed is best), duck fat or grass-fed tallow, and for salad dressings, use organic, cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil.
